Summary of Work

The Kansas Statehouse Restoration project was a 4 year, $23 million facade restoration project of the historical Kansas State Capitol. Repairs included removing and replacing over 4,000 limestone units, some weighing over 2500 lbs! In addition, MARK 1 cleaned the entire building using a combination of biocides and specialized stain removers. Other tasks, such as tuckpointing, stone patching, epoxy injection and large dutchman repairs, are also in our scope of work.
